May 2013 Theme – The Architecture of Living

May will be spent exploring pivotal ideas found in a book that may have gotten lost in the avalanche of terrific Metaphysical, New Thought books written in the last decade.  Of it, Deepak Chopra wrote:  “This work stands as deep testament to the human spirit and the undeniable role of conscious intent in the evolution and transformation of humanity.”

“The Architecture of All Abundance:  Creating a Successful Life in the Material World” by Lenedra Carroll contains a blueprint for anyone yearning for a higher level of spiritual awareness coupled with material manifestation.   This month we examine and experience the spiritual concepts contained in “Architecture.”  It will be a fascinating journey.

May 26 “The Architecture of Prosperity” – Rev. Anne

As we conclude our theme, we focus on the challenge of trusting that we live in the Flow of All Good and that we are always provided for.  We see how one simple awareness can change everything in an instant.  Music by Florina Cupsa.

There is a Children’s Program with Miss Eileen this week for young visitors.

June 2013 Theme – It’s All Good in the Neighborhood

This will be an eclectic month as we take a look at the Good (the God!) in our lives from a different vantage point each week.

June 2 “Springing into the Present” – Rev. Anne

Ancient teachings tell us “yesterday is but a dream and tomorrow only a vision.  But today well-lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness and every tomorrow a vision of hope.”   This morning, we ground ourselves in the goodness of the here and now to explore the Goodness of God in every moment. Music by Florina Cupsa.

June 9 “The Wind Against Your Face” – Rev. Anne

The faster we move forward, the more the wind blows against our faces. When we encounter much difficulty and resistance, it is because we are in the process of making significant progress. As the stiff wind blows against your face, know that what you’re feeling is your rapid movement forward.  And that is good – oh, so good!  This week our special musician is Tricia Alexander.  Keyboard and vocal music provided by Florina Cupsa.

There is a Children’s Program with Miss Eileen this week.

June 16 “It’s All Small Change” – Rev. Anne

Using the old saying, “Don’t sweat the small stuff and it’s all small stuff,” we will look at how often we blow changes in our lives out of proportion based on our fears, which make us completely unable to see the good in life.  Today, we will turn mountains into molehills as we quit sweating the small stuff.  Music by Florina Cupsa.

June 23 “Keep on Keepin’ On” – Rev. Anne

Our spiritual unfoldment – our expansion into our ever-increasing good – is gradual, sequential and cumulative. As we put one foot in front of the other and remain steadfast in the Truth of who we are, our neighborhood just keeps getter better and better, because that’s the way it works!  Special music today is by Lia Nicine McCoo.  Keyboard and vocals by Florina Cupsa.

Our Children’s Program with Miss Eileen will be available this week for families with young children.

June 30 “What Would Jesus and Ernest Do?” – Rev. Anne

How would Ernest find the good in a troubling situation?  How would Jesus?  Today we wrap up our month’s theme by exploring the common ways these spiritual giants approached life to find that it truly is all good in the neighborhood!  Music by Florina Cupsa.
